David Kadlec, LEED AP
David Kadlec learned the love of all things constructed at the elbow of his father, Jack, a mechanical engineer and accomplished builder. He started studying building energy efficiency in the late ‘70s, incorporated green technologies into homes and buildings. He also provided marketing strategies and materials for sustainability programs and services as part of his design firm. Knowing that working full time for a clean, sustainable environment was his next step, he co-founded CasaVerde with the rest of the team. David passed the USGBC LEED exam in 2008.
His clients include General Mills, Tonka Toys, Pillsbury, Kiwanis International, Indiana Community Action Association, Citizens Action Coalition, The Saturday Evening Post and the Hoosier Environmental Council.
In order to provide a more effective service for both community and corporate clients, he has studied with The Integral Institute, Beyond Your Best, Inc., and the Indiana Gestalt Institute. His multi-disciplinary approach maximizes personal contribution, and creates a generative leadership environment with strong team performance and enriching interpersonal dynamics.
His projects include radio programming, an energy efficient demonstration home that he designed and built, regional conference presentation and residential energy efficiency consultation. David is on the Board of Directors of the Hoosier Environmental Council and Smart Growth Indiana. |
